We now have an exciting opportunity for Chef to join our busy Catering Team.

We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years’ experience of working within a Catering Team and hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 in food preparation.

In this busy role, you will be expected to adhere to strict and safe hygienic working procedures and practices as well as adhering to strict personal hygiene. Daily and weekly periodic cleaning tasks will need to be carried out in accordance with the cleaning schedules and you will need to ensure all foods are produced in accordance with production schedules, standard recipes, specifications and standards as instructed.

The ability to work alone as well as part of a team would be an advantage as well as good interpersonal skills.

As well as undertaking cleaning and laundry duties, you will be required to complete regular checks on relevant equipment and products, ensuring that this meets the minimum required standard of cleanliness and repair.

We are looking for candidates who are efficient, well organised, friendly and helpful and who are able to work without day to day direction. This is a manual role and experience working in a similar position would be preferred.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a competent and knowledgeable Payroll and HR Officer to join our busy HR team, providing a robust and expert service. You will process and advise on all aspects of pay and benefits, and be the first point of contact for queries from our employees or payroll provider.

Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly pay submissions, administration of allowances and benefits, and producing management reports. You will also be key in the co-ordination of pensions auto-enrolment, as well as continuous improvement of our pay and benefits processes. Whilst the role will be predominantly payroll, you may also be involved in health and wellbeing initiatives for Sport Wales employees and any ad hoc HR projects as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working successfully within a similar role, and will possess a relevant qualification such as CIPP, CIPD or equivalent. Advanced IT and numeracy skills are essential to enable you to maintain accurate pay records, and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines will also be key. You will have excellent customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, as well as up-to-date knowledge of pay and benefit legislation and best practice.
