Jobs in Wrexham
Jobswales is a great way to search for jobs in Wrexham and throughout Wales. We work with employers to bring you fresh new jobs in many Welsh locations.
Wrexham, or Wrecsam to the Welsh, is an industrial town in north-east Wales, close to the English border with Cheshire. It is the main commercial, educational and cultural centre in North Wales and often termed 'The capital of North Wales'.
The town itself has a population of 43,000 (although its metropolitan area is well over 100,000) and is the largest town in North Wales. Wrexham enjoys exceptional transport links, with easy travel to Chester and Shrewsbury, and in turn Liverpool and Manchester. A new direct rail link to London is currently in the planning stage.
The town centre has undergone recent regeneration and now attracts a growing number of high street names and retail chains, which offer plenty of opportunities in the retail sector. There are lots of jobs in Wrexham: The biggest breakthrough in recent years has been the Wrexham Industrial Estate, home to many manufacturing businesses including Kellogg's, JCB, Duracell and Pirelli. Other large industrial estates feature high-tech companies such as Sharp, Brother and Flexsys. Cadbury's is another major employer in the area.
Wrexham is currently enjoying a housing boom, and major housing projects are underway throughout the town. The cost of living is still low, making it an attractive place to work and live.
We bring you the newest and some great career opportunities, wherever you want to work in Wales. Simply enter your location and Jobswales does the hard work for you.
