Job Elements: -
• Responsible for Customer and Sales Support in Sample Preparation focusing on Clinical, Forensic and or Environmental areas.
• The post holder will work closely with R&D, Product Management and our Production Team. The role necessitates approximately 50% travelling.
• Respond to customer requests for application advice through appropriate means, i.e., phone, email, face-to-face visits, etc.
• Support account managers throughout Europe and provide technical back-up as necessary.
• Attend scientific meetings/customer sites as appropriate to present posters and oral presentations and develop/maintain a high level of knowledge
• Maintain awareness of competitor products, providing feedback to the applications team by interacting with customers, attending conferences and other scientific venues.
The ideal candidate will have:
• We are looking for an analytical chemist with very good customer facing skills and the ability to deliver posters and presentations to scientists.
• They will probably have a strong background in either environmental, forensic, food or clinical (hospital) analytical chemistry.
• Necessary Degree in appropriate Scientific area and desirable in Marketing
• Quantitative skills in statistics, survey design and computer science.
• Strong customer focus
• Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills
• Desirable a second language; German and/or French
