Job Elements: -
• Ensure suppliers deliver products / components to the company’s specification and fit for purpose.
• Ensure suppliers deliver on time.
• Find and maintain suitable suppliers as required by the company.
• Negotiate best prices with suppliers.
• Maintain effective contracts with Service and Utility Suppliers
• Effectively Manage the Department in support of these activities
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience within a procurement role
• Ideally CIPS qualified (or part qualified)
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Must have experience of buying direct and indirect materials, consumables, utilities and services
