Job Elements: -
• Act as the process expert for the appropriate manufacturing area assessing the capability of the process units and recommending ways of maximising this.
• Benchmark manufacturing performance against competitors and recommend and implement initiatives including capital development schemes, to increase process capability, yield, quality, speed of working and cost performance.
• Advise on the application of appropriate standard operating, quality assurance, safety and environmental procedures to regulate the work of the manufacturing teams.
• Develop and implement new operating procedures to improve productivity, quality and cost performance.
• Provide technical input to and resource for Team problem solving.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Process Specialists are likely to be educated to degree level combined with experience
• The successful candidate should possess good statistical analysis skills and have good computer skills.
• Proved experience in Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Experience of process engineering
