Mae Mencap Cymru yn chwilio am reolwr prosiect newydd sydd ?? phrofiad profedig i reoli ein Prosiect 'Motivate' Llanfyllin. Wedi'i leoli yn Llanfyllin yng Ngogledd-ddwyrain Powys, mae 'Motivate' Llanfyllin yn gobeithio darparu cyfleoedd i bobl ag anabledd dysgu gael amlygrwydd a statws yn eu cymunedau lleol.

Fel rheolwr fe fyddwch yn cefnogi 15-30 o unigolion sydd ag anabledd dysgu ac wyth aelod o staff. Efallai bydd nifer y staff yn cynyddu oherwydd cyflogaeth wrth gefn Hwyluswyr. Cofiwch bod angen trwydded yrru lawn a dilys y DU ar gyfer y swydd hon, felly rydyn ni'n gofyn bod pob ymgeisydd dros 21 oherwydd dibenion yswiriant.

Mencap Cymru is looking for a new project manager with proven experience to manage our Llanfyllin Motivate Project. Based in Llanfyllin in North East Powys, Llanfyllin Motivate aims to provides opportunities for people with a learning disability to have visibility and status in their local communities.

As manager you will support 15-30 individuals who have a learning disability and 8 members of staff. The number of staff may increase due to relief employment of Facilitators. Please note, a full and valid UK drivers licence is required for this position, therefore we ask that all applicants are over the age of 21 due to insurance purposes.

As a role model for our values and leadership way, you will support our staff team to provide the best possible opportunities for people with a learning disability to effectively challenge negative attitudes, reduce the stigma faced by learning disabled citizens in Powys and make a meaningful contribution to their communities.

Typical working hours would be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This role is to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week), however we do require the successful candidate to be flexible throughout the week.

You will be responsible for the continued smooth operation of this service by undertaking agreed management tasks. In relation and addition to undertaking managerial support duties, as a Project Manager you will ensure that the team is able to meet its performance objectives and targets by driving a high performance culture.

You will have the responsibility to agree and set performance objectives to make sure strong employee engagement is met and delivered through effective leadership, management, communication and motivation.

To be considered for this role, previous experience in management is expected and knowledge of community development is highly desirable, as it is important to have an understanding of how a service is run and developed. Qualifications to support these type of posts are also something we would consider. We are looking for someone who is highly passionate, trustworthy and forward thinking who lives by our five key values on a daily basis and has learning disability at the centre of their heart!
