Grounds Maintenance Operative / Gardener

A new role has been created for an enthusiastic and proactive maintenance professional to join a busy and expanding park, where you’ll thrive working effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. 

Sirior Bach Caravan Park is a beautiful luxury static caravan park, with over 170 caravan bases spread across 19 acres in a peaceful countryside setting near Abergele in North Wales.   

Reporting to the Park Manager, as the Grounds Maintenance Operative you’ll take responsibility for maintaining high standards on the park, and your duties will include although not be limited to;

  • Grass cutting, trimming, hedgecutting, weeding and maintaining borders
  • Dealing with gas deliveries and transporting on the park
  • Carrying out routine grounds maintenance inspections
  • Ensuring high standards are maintained and carrying out cleaning around the park grounds
  • Carrying out basic caravan maintenance tasks as required

To be considered for this Grounds Maintenance Operative role you’ll have the following experience, skills, knowledge and attributes;

  • Professional grounds maintenance experience 
  • Conscientious, along with a strong work ethic 
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Friendly personality 
  • Willingness to learn new skills 
  • Full UK driving licence

Experience within horticulture would be advantageous although not essential.

You’ll be part of a small professional team based on a busy luxury holiday park, where your efforts and strong work ethic will be noticed and rewarded. 

Location: Abergele (Conwy County, North Wales)

Salary: £15,000 – £16,000, level dependent on experience

Contract Type: Permanent contract, full time hours

Hours of Work: 8:30am – 5:00pm, 5 out of 7 days per week, which will include working Saturday’s during the busy holiday season. Reduced hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm in Winter.
