Office Assistant 3-6 hours a day. Small office (two humans, one dog, old chapel). Apple computers.
New Role: “Office Assistant Part Time” (average 15-30 hours per week approx. depending on time of year) £8.75 hour.
So we do not waste your time or raise your hopes unnecessarily…
Please do not apply for this role if you are not completely happy using a computer and smartphone. You do not have to be a whizz-kid but we do expect competent and speedy use. For example you should know how to use folders and will be completely familiar with terms such as “cut and paste”, “drag and drop” and will understand how to bcc and cc emails etc. You will likely have a smartphone and know how to use it (you will not need it for work but it reflects the type of person we are looking for).
The exact procedure for applying for this role is listed at the foot of this page.

“Although this is a very varied role I require that the successful applicant is a person who is quite pedantic about things being correct: a stickler for detail is preferable as this role will require some important checking of facts and figures”. It is also important that the successful applicant is not adverse to a spot of cleaning! As I said - it is a varied role. - Julian Patrick, Managing Director.

How to apply
Last time we advertised a job we had over five hundred applicants and as we are a small company we found this to be overwhelming. For this reason we have to be fairly ruthless regarding the application procedure (apologies but best for us to be honest). Here is how the procedure works:
Send an email to: email@example.com with the Subject Line of the email stating the following:
Why <your full name>, who lives in postcode area <your postcode>, would be a good Stovefitter’s Office Assistant
Then, in no less than 100 words and no more than 200 words, tell us why you believe you would be good for the role.
Please also include your full address and a suitable contact telephone number. If you would like to include any suitable social media links please feel free.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY MAKE CONTACT WITH THOSE WHO ARE INVITED TO THE NEXT STAGE (INTERVIEW). OUR APOLOGIES.
