Head Receptionist / Team Manager

Due to continuous growth our client has identified a new role within their practice for an experienced Receptionist / Team Manager to join their well established veterinary practice based in Bridgend with additional branches in Port Talbot, Pontyclun and Porthcawl.

This is an excellent opportunity to join this practice as an exciting time of growth throughout the branches.

Position Summary:
As Head Receptionist you will have between 10 and 14 direct reports to oversee and it will be your responsibility to ensure the receptionist team are consistently delivering a high quality customer service to all patients and colleagues.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
• Supervising, managing and training team members to the highest standard, ensuring all team members are confident within their roles
• Ensuring to implement goals and objectives for your team to motivate when required ensuring the key objective of providing exceptional customer service is always met
• Providing effective resource management and shift coverage
• Fully utilising technology and process effectively to improve performance
• Being an effective change management at team and practice level
• Managing the remote teams in the other branches, overseeing all administrative functions of the team are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
• Working closely with the veterinary, nursing and management team for the effective delivery of services from Reception
• Active participation in management team to enhance the clinical and commercial performance of practice
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have the required skills and experience to undertake and thrive in this role, including:

• Experience successfully leading a team and ideally within a customer service role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Results driven, customer focused and a confident decision maker are all essential elements to this role
• Reliable, empathetic, self motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work as part of a team and on an individual basis also


Benefits
• Salary £20k - £25k D.O.E
• 38 hour week, however successful candidate to decide on own hours each week based on the needs of the business and team
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
