Carl Kammerling International Ltd is a market leader in the distribution of our exclusive, high quality CK, CK Magma, AVIT and KASP branded tools, tool storage and security products to retailers and distributors worldwide.
Dealing directly with our European and Far Eastern suppliers, this key role is crucial to further develop the company’s growth potential. Based at HQ in Pwllheli and reporting directly into the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of managing the supply chain (including maintaining its quality and security) and negotiating agreements with suppliers.
Who are we looking for?
We require an IT literate, confident and articulate communicator (both written and verbal) with strong negotiation, influencing and listening skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. You will have a practical understanding of the principals of supply chain management, as well as experience of buying within Europe or the Far East, or preferably both. You will also have a practical understanding of the underpinning principles of business commercials including contract terms, margins and P & L statements.
As this position reports directly to the Managing Director you must be confident in your abilities and be a ‘self-starter’.
Experience of working within international trade and export would be an advantage, along with a degree or professional qualification in a related field; however neither is essential. Any additional language skills would be an advantage, particularly German and Chinese.
