As a Resourcing Partner, you’ll develop strategies that attract and recruit the right skills and behaviours into the Department for Transport (DfT) and its executive agencies. It’s about working proactively with senior management, Campaign Administrators, Resourcing Leads and the wider HR team to deliver efficient, effective campaigns and bring measurable improvement to our resourcing operation. You will design and deliver improved recruitment and selection processes from a strategic point of view; conducting job analysis, producing bespoke sifting and assessment solutions and building the credibility and relationships needed to embed them successfully.
As an experienced recruitment professional with a good understanding of selection tools and processes, you’ll know how to execute strategy and manage the recruitment process in a fast-paced environment. You should appreciate the value of strong stakeholder relationships and be adept at building and maintaining them. Beyond your people skills and deep knowledge of the sector, you’ll either have, or be willing to work towards, accreditation from a professional body such as the CIPD.
DfT and its agencies work to support the transport network that helps the UK’s businesses and gets people and goods travelling around the country.
