Conveyancing Direct Ltd is one of the top 10 Conveyancing Companies in England and Wales and a leading provider of conveyancing in our local area.

Due to expansion, we have a vacancy for a Remortgage Case Handler.  This position would best suit a Law Graduate or a person with proven track record in managing a case load in a conveyancing environment.

You will be joining a rapidly expanding customer focused company which is dedicated to progressing not only the business but the people within it.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out day to day legal administration on behalf of lenders.  Use the system to progress cases efficiently and to time scales.
  • Ensure workflow through the case management system: deal with incoming correspondence, e-mails, etc.; carry out next events on the computer system; take phone calls, record on the system and take necessary action; proactive progress cases through the system.
  • Undergo training to ensure competence at assigned tasks and attain improvement of quality and quantity of work.
  • Carry out and complete a set number of remortgage transactions each month, taking responsibility in each case.
  • Ensure all property charges are cleared, all redemption figures are accurate, timely and complete.
  • Maintain levels of service by ensuring that all areas of each Lender Service Level Agreements are met as per the guidelines from the team manager.
  • Arrange title insurance as and when required.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in an office environment would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to get on with diverse personalities.  You will have good time management, organisational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. 
  • You will be confident and able to work alone or as part of a team.
