Engineering Vacancies at Shotton Steel Works following announcement of £7m investment.
Tata Steel has secured £7m capital investment at its Shotton plant in Flintshire. One of our most profitable plants, the Shotton works employs over 700 people and produces a range of advanced, high quality coated metal products for the construction, domestic appliance and manufactured goods markets. The investment will expand our product offering to meet the future needs of our customers.
In addition to our established apprentice training scheme, we are looking to recruit a number of Electrical Craftsmen into our multi-disciplined and highly skilled Engineering Department.
With basic salaries ranging from £27,000 to £31,000 and a package including overtime, bonus, holidays and pension, now is a great time to join a market leader and support the ongoing success of the plant.
Applicants must have a time served electrical apprenticeship and be experienced in fault-finding and maintenance in an industrial environment. Knowledge of PLC programming and 17th Edition is an advantage. Extensive training and development will be provided but knowledge of Health & Safety standards and CMMS (SAP) is beneficial.
