LECTURER IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Part time (0.5FTE), Fixed term until September 2017 with a possibility of a further extension (Maternity Cover) Post will be available from February 2017
Salary: Grade 7 (Lecturer) £33,574 - £38,896 pro rata
As a result of ongoing success with its sustainable growth strategy, an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Faculty of Business & Management for an exceptional individual to join the Human Resource Management (HRM) lecturing team in the Faculty of Business and Management. Based at our Swansea campus, the individual appointed must hold the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) postgraduate diploma and be a member of the CIPD.
An excellent communicator with highly effective inter-personal and organisational skills, the successful candidate will bring their experience of working in the field of Human Resource Management and Development to deliver academically challenging, vocational related content. They should be able to incorporate innovative teaching and assessment methods in a variety of HRM related areas to a culturally diverse and varied student body at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In particular, the candidate will be expected to assist in the management and delivery of our successful Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) programmes, and therefore must hold CIPD membership. Willingness to undertake pastoral and administrative duties for the Faculty is also required.
