Job title: Administrative and Asst Prayer Coordinator for BCW/Pisgah Chapel (Volunteer)
Job description: Voluntary work in the Bible College of Wales, a project under Cornerstone Community Church (Wales), a charity. You will participate in the day to day responsibilities and running of the Prayer meetings at Pisgah Chapel. You will work closely with the staff of the Bible College of Wales and Cornerstone Community Church Singapore to manage and advance the objective of prayer and intercession. This includes managing and maintaining the chapel and liaising with the Bible College of Wales for meetings, tours and other relevant events and initiatives. You will also participate in and assist the BCW staff in the day to day responsibilities and running of the Bible College of Wales. This includes managing the grounds, facilities and residencies where help is needed and helping to run the heritage centre. A 6 month or more commitment is preferable.
Location of Job: Bible College Of Wales, Derwen Fawr Road, Swansea SA2 8EB and Pisgah Chapel, Bynymor Road, Loughor SA4 6TD
Salary package: The role is voluntary and volunteers will be reimbursed for lunch and travel costs during their term of voluntary work.
Skills, qualifications and experience needed: As this is a religious charity, workers must have prior experience in Christian ministry or House of Prayers and be familiar with the revival history of the Church. Volunteers must provide a letter of referral or recommendation from their local parish/church. Volunteers ought to have relevant qualifications in religious studies such as a certificate/diploma/degree in Ministry/Theology, etc.
Volunteers must be willing to be “hands-on” and undertake all different kinds of work, from gardening to housekeeping to repair and maintenance.
