Weekend Support Worker - Children and Young People's Services

Due to the award of an exclusivity contract with one of our clients we have an urgent requirement for 10 experienced residential childcare workers to join our successful team.
Candidates will be supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties or learning difficulties and complex needs, in residential settings.
We offer competitive rates of pay including the opportunity to work 30 hours over the weekend. We also offer weekly pay, a free specialist training package worth over £750, flexible working, day or night shifts and the opportunity to undertake a care qualification, free of charge.
Candidates must have a minimum of six months paid care experience and be flexible and reliable. We require drivers and those who already possess a level 3 NVQ / QCF in children and young people will have an advantage.
This role is subject to full safer employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure. The cost of this will be met by the applicant, but we also accept portable, enhanced DBS certificates.
As soon as pre employment checks and training are complete, which will take no longer than two weeks, subject to DBS, immediate work is available. Please note that the majority of our temporary workers are offered permanent positions with our care providers within the first three months of employment.
