We launched Admiral in 1993, giving people who were traditionally considered high risk the chance to buy affordable, quality motorcover. It's been plain sailing ever since with incredible growth, the launch of four brands and two wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK. Right now we have over 1.8 million customers, a 2,800 strong crew and an incredible annual turnover of £910 million. All our staff are shareholders in the company and benefit directly from the free company shares scheme.  Over £4.5 million worth of free shares were distributed to staff in 2009.
